A PARADISE PRIVATE ISLAND ARCHIPELAGO IN EAST INDONESIA
Nestled in the heart of the Coral Triangle, Shambhala spans 10,000 hectares (the same size as Bora Bora in French Polynesia). The archipelago encompasses 129 coral atoll islands, ranging from 1 to 400 hectares in size, set within 75,000 hectares of private waters and a vast 315,000-hectare Marine Protected Area. This stunning region boasts turquoise lagoons, white sand beaches, virgin rainforests, and over 100 kilometres of coral reefs. More than 600 rare and endangered species, including blue whales and whale sharks, have been documented here, highlighting its extraordinary biodiversity.
SHAMBHALA'S MISSION & VISION
The mission of Shambhala blends large-scale conservation efforts with high-end destination resorts and private island living. Development is driven by sustainability, with less than 0.5% of the land and only 0.005% of the total territory designated for development, ensuring minimal environmental impact. All developments, whether luxury resorts or private island estates, will utilize sustainable materials, technologies, and practices. Training, job creation, and community empowerment are core to Shambhala's vision, providing vital opportunities for the region.
EXCITING OPPORTUNITIES
Our company, an Indonesian-registered, foreign-owned firm, holds exclusive development and conservation rights to the entire 85,000-hectare territory. Shambhala has already garnered interest from two prestigious hotel and resort operators, with plans to begin development in 2025.
These operators have requested large islands for 60-80 key resorts, complemented by two private island options each. A third hotel brand, yet to be selected, is expected to join the portfolio with a similar mix of properties.
Of the 17 islands designated for development, the 3 high-end resorts will hold the development rights to 9 islands, while 8 islands will be available as exclusive private island estates. To preserve this majestic wilderness, as well as Shambhala's allure and exclusivity, development is deliberately capped.

ACCESS & CONNECTIVITY
A private airstrip will be constructed, allowing direct access for private jets and Cessnas. Flights will connect via Ternate and Jakarta, ensuring convenient travel to this remote haven.
